Amplifying Physician Advocacy After Tort Reform

Program Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the critical importance of physician leadership and advocacy.
- Highlight the Iowa Medical Society’s new strategic plan to advance the practice of medicine.
- Define the Iowa Medical Society's legislative agenda, including 2024 state and federal priorities.
- Provide a status update on the progress of the 2024 legislative session and opportunities to physician advocacy.
This event is free for all members of the Scott County Medical Society. Members may bring one additional guest of their choosing at no charge. Buffet dinner will be served (with accommodations for dietary restrictions/food allergies).
Physicians who are not members of the medical society are welcome to attend. The fee for non-members to attend is $45. Or you may choose to join the medical society to take advantage of this event and the numerous professional and family events offered throughout the year.

This event has been approved for 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with extent of their participation in the activity.
