Program Learning Objectives:
- 1. Discuss the continued importance of physician leadership and advocacy.
- 2. Define the Iowa Medical Society's legislative agenda, including 2025 state and federal priorities.
- 3. Provide a status update on the progress of the 2025 legislative session and opportunities to physician advocacy.
Event FREE for all members
This event is free for all members of the Scott County Medical Society and includes a plated dinner. Members may bring one additional guest of their choosing at no charge. Physicians who are not members of the medical society are welcome to attend for a fee of $45.

Target Audience: Physicians, advance practice providers, and clinical care team partners.
Purpose: To educate attendees on the importance of physician leadership in advocacy, the current legislative landscape, and opportunities for physician advocacy in 2025.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Iowa Medical Society through the joint sponsorship of Scott County Medical Society and Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation. Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation is accredited by the Iowa Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
