Alzheimer's Disease

Program Learning Objectives:

  • 1.       Discuss biomarker testing for Alzheimer's disease
  • 2.       Discuss criteria for use of amyloid lower therapy in Alzheimer's disease
  • 3.       Discuss risk/benefits of amyloid lowering therapy in Alzheimer's disease

Event FREE for all members

This event is free for all members of the Scott County Medical Society and includes a plated dinner. Members may bring one additional guest of their choosing at no charge. Physicians who are not members of the medical society are welcome to attend for a fee of $45.

Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with extent of their participation in the activity.

Target Audience:  Physicians, advance practice providers, and clinical care team partners.

Purpose: To educate attendees on the importance of physician leadership in advocacy, the current legislative landscape, and opportunities for physician advocacy in 2025.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Iowa Medical Society through the joint sponsorship of Scott County Medical Society and Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation. Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation is accredited by the Iowa Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
